Is it possible? Could my long lived dream of being able to legally gamble on sports wherever I want become a reality?
Not likely. But at least there are signs of hope.
According to a recent espn article, the governor of Delaware (Jack Markell) will introduce a proposal sometime this spring for legalizing sports gambling in his state.

I am so moving there.
Unlike in Nevada (and apparently Montana- why the hell didn't anyone tell me there was legal sports betting in Montana), the proposal for Delaware would only allow parley bets, meaning that a gambler has to get at least two bets correct to win.
It is my, greatly naive hope that if Delaware has any success in doing this, other states may follow suit. Maybe, just maybe, our great nation will someday embrace our God given right to bet on sports, just like our forefathers would have wanted.
The Broncos suck, and it's long overdue that we all start making some money because of it.

ReplyDeleteI could never understand why it's banned in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI thought Colorado was a FREE state. Until you're legally smoking pot at the brothel while making a bet with your bookie ... you're not truly free.
That's pretty funny love. You've been making money off the Broncos for quite some time. Oh, and I'm totally up for moving to Delaware!
ReplyDeleteListen here there is no moving unless it is closer to me! I have been trying to post but I can't figure out some sort of "cookie" issue on our laptop. Love the bank story, pieces of it flash into my mind when I have to help customers.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous is me - Ren... I can't figure out your comment thing. Sorry ;)
